9. LOCATION

Location mode is a setting that determines how your device obtains your location information.

Setting Description
UNSPECIFIED The location mode is not set or defined by the user or the device policy controller (DPC). The device may use any available method to obtain the location information, such as GPS, Wi-Fi, cellular networks, or sensors.
HIGH ACCURACY The device uses all available methods to obtain the most accurate location information possible. This includes GPS, Wi-Fi, cellular networks, and sensors.
SENSORS ONLY The device uses only the built-in GPS receiver to obtain the location information. This option can provide a high level of accuracy without relying on Wi-Fi or cellular networks.
BATTERY SAVING The device uses only Wi-Fi and cellular networks to obtain the location information. This option can save battery life by avoiding the use of GPS and sensors, which are more power-intensive.
OFF The device does not obtain or use any location information at all. This option can save battery life and data usage by avoiding the use of any location method.
LOCATION USER CHOICE The user can choose any of the available location mode options according to their preferences and needs.
