2. OEM Specific Settings

These settings are applicable only for Samsung devices. Additional KNOX license is required for these settings

HARDWARE KEY
  • HOME KEY: This enables/disables the physical home key. (Middle)
  • BACK KEY: This enables/disables the physical back key. (Right)
  • RECENT KEY: This enables/disables the Recent Key. (Left)
  • POWER KEY: The Power key button can be enabled and disabled
NETWORK

This is a network setting

  • LTE MODE: LTE mode can be enabled and disabled using this option
SYSTEM
  • S-VOICE: This enables/disables S-voice
  • MULTI-WINDOW: This enables/disables the multi-window feature on the device.
  • LOCK SCREEN: Disables the lock screen completely. Lock screen cannot be re-enabled
SECURITY
  • FIRMWARE UPGRADE: This enables/disables background Firmware upgrades from taking place
ADVANCED
  • BOOT ON POWER: If this option is enabled then the device will automatically boot when power is connected and if the device was in OFF state
  • ORIENTATION: Device can be restricted to Landscape and Portrait
CONTROLS

These are power controls for power saving

  • SLEEP: This value will specify which the device will go to sleep mode
  • DEEP SLEEP: This value will trigger the device to go to deep sleep when power value goes below the set value
SETTINGS MENU

If Android settings app is allowed for the user, then these settings will define which of the sub -settings can be available for the user to make changes

  • BACKUP/RESET: This option can be hidden from android settings by setting option to HIDE
  • DEVELOPER MODE: This option can be hidden from android settings by setting option to HIDE
  • AIRPLANE MODE: This option can be hidden from android settings by setting option to HIDE
  • LANGUAGE: This option can be hidden from android settings by setting option to HIDE
  • MULTI-WINDOW: This option can be hidden from android settings by setting option to HIDE
  • USERS: This option can be hidden from android settings by setting option to HIDE
  • BLUETOOTH: This option can be hidden from android settings by setting option to HIDE
  • LOCK SCREEN: This option can be hidden from android settings by setting option to HIDE
  • WIFI: This option can be hidden from android settings by setting option to HIDE
  • MDM CLIENT DISPLAY: This option is for enabling and disabling of detail options in MDM client app
  • DISABLE ALL BLOATWARE: Enabling this option will remove all know bloatware
