1. General

This group of settings is applicable for all Android devices

  • VOLUME KEY: The volume key can be enabled and disabled
  • BLUETOOTH: Disabling this will not allow user to change the Bluetooth setting
  • WIFI: Disabling this will prevent user to change the WiFi settings on the device
  • GPS: GPS can be enabled or disabled on the device using this option
  • DATA ROAMING: It can be set to FORCE ON, if roaming has to be turned ON. Force OFF will turn Roaming off. Allow , will allow the device user to change the roaming option
  • ANDROID SETTINGS: Access to Android settings on the device can be enabled or disabled
  • NOTIFICATIONS: This stops any notifications to arrive on to the device
  • FACTORY RESET: This enables or disables Access to the factory reset option in the device options
  • SCREENSHOT: If this option is disabled the device user cannot take screenshot on the device
  • DEVELOPER MODE: The mode is used by developers to access more options to debug. This option can be remotely enabled or disabled
  • USB DEBUGGING: This needs to be enabled if device has to perform data transfer with a computer using USB cable
  • UNKNOWN SOURCE: This option needs to be enabled for installation of application from outside the play store
  • STATUS BAR: This enables/disables the status bar positioned at the top of the mobile device
  • DEVICE TIMEOUT: You can specify the exact time to timeout the screen after which the device will go dim and show a lock screen
  • PULL INTERVAL: This is the time period after which the device that belongs to that profile will check in with the server to update its status and fetch updated profile. Recommended value is more than 1000 min
  • BRIGHTNESS: The device brightness can be set in a scale of 0 to 100
  • VOLUME: The volume of the device can be set in a scale of 0 to 100
