7. What are Classroom Management app mods?

  • Class mode: - Teacher and students are connected to same Wi-Fi access point, all teacher students’ communications are local (No data synced to cloud)
  • School mode: - Teacher and students are login to cloud through their own network (mobile or Wi-Fi) and all communications are happening in cloud
  • SSO mode: - Single sign-on, allows a user to log in with a single ID and password to several related apps and cloud (Currently with Antares cloud and app)

9. Is Managed configuration supported in Classroom Management?

  • Yes, please MDM provider can use Managed configuration to set all the configurations

10. Can I join the carouses from cloud while my teacher is in Classroom mode?

  • In Classroom mode all communications are local so you cannot use it with cloud mode

11. I am not able to join the courses

  • Please check your network Wi-Fi connection, teacher and student must be connected to same Wi-Fi access point. Also check you have latest app vision

12. What is the contact if I get some issues with Classroom Management App?

13. Can I change user type?

  • You can change user type from Teacher to student, but you are not allowed to change from student to teacher.
  • If the policies (e.g. user type) are set from MDM managed configuration then you cannot change user type, you need to contact MDM admin

14. I am not able to change settings

  • If they are set from MDM managed configuration then you cannot change user type, you need to contact MDM admin

15. Can I change size of the floating buttons?

  • Yes, logout first and go to settings and change “Floating Icons Size”

16. Is it possible for the teacher to sign out all students?

  • In Class mode, when the teacher ends the course, he or she can select the option to sign out all the students.

17. How to clean the device before the next use?

  • The classroom management application has a wipe feature. The configuration for the wipe functionality can be set using managed configuration. The device will be cleaned every time the trigger criteria is met. Trigger criteria can be reboot or sign out.
